Stars
by Seah Greenhorn
(poem with copyright)
They
Parade
Beneath
Magnificent
City
Lights
Drawing
Millions
Annually.
Their
cultured
Beauty
reflecting
their
manufactured
glory
Magnificent;
especially
to all who only see
physically.
Their Lights
Flicker.
At times
Simultaneously
conflicting;
providing
directions varied--
temporarily.
Yet,
Vast
and Awe-inspiring
Our
Starry
#Heavens
with
The #Sun
and the #Moon
and
Each
Star
of
blue, red,
green-to-yellow.
Bright
Guides.
A Light to
Our Day;
though
they Rule
Over the Night;
During
the World's
Darkest of Hours.
Said:
"A City Cannot
Be Hid
When
Located
Upon a Mountain."
Therefore,
Elevate!
Let Not
Darkness
Extinguish
Our Light.
